Guru Purnima "Removing the Darkness" Festival

Join us to celebrate Guru Purnima, the festival dedicated to honoring all Gurus, all spiritual leaders, that face and challenge the darkness of this world!

The root of all suffering, according to the Yogis, is ignorance. Due to the darkness of ignorance our true purpose as human beings is not “seen.” A true Guru, “the remover of darkness” is an enlightened master who dispels the darkness of ignorance, revealing the light of truth inherent within each one of us.

A festival at Sat Manav is the perfect introduction to the life-changing, world-changing power of Yoga. It is an opportunity to step out of daily life and travel back in time to a Yoga community reminiscent of ancient India. A day of inspiring intensives, illuminating discourse, uplifting ceremony, incredible food and live music...all in an idyllic mountain setting!

Summer Solstice Yoga Life Festival

Join us to celebrate the longest, brightest day by diving into Yoga, the science and practice of living our true purpose as human beings! We are all innately disturbed by the “darkness” of the world. But what can we do? Yoga answers this question and so many more with an answer that has withstood the test of time (over 5,000 years!).

Unlike the common understanding, Yoga is not a physical exercise trend. It is a scientific, philosophical system that's aim is to unite human beings, once more, with our true purpose; the singular solution to the vast amount of issues we presently face.
