Hamsa Yoga Shala
The Hamsa is a traditional Yoga Shala or “hall” dedicated to the physical practices of Yoga necessary for forging the transmutation of the body essential to Yoga.
This straw bale structure is the daily practice hall for all resident disciples and initiated children of the Hermitage. Each morning we gather for Sadhana "Yoga Practice". Guests visiting are invited to join in this daily practice and enjoy the sacred camaraderie of the Hamsa Yoga Shala.
The Hamsa is open to the public during the Vashi Yoga intensives on festival days. To find out more about Vashi Yoga see The Practice page.
